The absence of joints or other distractions focuses all the attention on the harmony of this monolithic table. Refined purism necessitating a very precise manufacturing process.

mih does not intrude and yet has a great visual impact. Its table top is covered by precious veneer, rotary-cut in one piece from the trunk. This rotary-cut veneer has an all-over marking; dark staining makes it all the more prominent. The absence of joints or other distractions focuses all the attention on the harmony of this monolithic table. Refined purism necessitating a very precise manufacturing process. mih's 25mm table top is specially produced from beech plywood to meet the high expectations on the top's evenness without using inlays. The top is mounted with traversed weights and bears the load like an arch. Based on the original design of the mi and preserving that architectural expression, the designers have added a very slight taper to the legs. This makes them look straight. The legs are diligently joined to the table using spindles. A central crosspiece connects the table legs running parallel to the tabletop. Whether as a standing table or accompanied by bar stools, mih is not only suitable for residential spaces but also for commercial and office areas.
