Horgenglarus furniture will last for generations. Time leaves its mark. We take back our chairs and tables at any time to professionally repair minor or major damage in our manufactory. We discuss and decide with you what work should be carried out. We disassemble the attached and screwed furniture into its individual parts and check the condition of each part. Glued joints are restored, and screws and washers replaced. If a part is too badly damaged, we can replace it with a new one, thanks to our component store. The surfaces are refinished, either restoring them to their original condition or with a new finish according to individual wishes. The upholstery department can spruce up the upholstery and replace covers. All pieces of furniture are given new gliders.
We manufacture high-quality everyday objects and are happy when our products stay in use for a long time thanks to good care. There is no shortage of prominent examples: the chairs in the parliament building in Bern from 1902 and the original seating in Zurich’s legendary Kronenhalle are regularly restored to this day, with new pieces added time and again.
