The expressive prova t–4201 is made from solid high-grade wood. A resilient table with an air of lightness, elegance, and unobtrusiveness. The 40mm table top feels delicate because it is tapered to 15mm. Just like Max Bill's cross-frame chair, the prova draws its stability from a crossed-over substructure, directly linking it to the legs. Thanks to its V-shaped screw connection, the solid table top can expand and shrink with the seasons without losing shape. A simple, easy-to-disassemble construction, the result of many years of research by Heinz Baumann. The flared legs add to its stability—red wine will stay in its glass.
